WHITE CRANE SILAT
White Crane Silat is a flowing, dance-like martial art practice that begins and ends in a circle, with the breath. We set a yogic mind and breathe open the heart, while cultivating active engagement with the world. We train our bodies without mirrors to develop our internal "feeling". We learn to get back up when we fall, and how to roll with it. Our nature inspired movements are novel, intentional, functional... and fun!
"Compassion brings humans closer to nature because compassion is the essence of the life force, the essence of growth, and the essence of healing." - Suhu Subur Rahardja

"Maggie is dedicated and full of grace. She lives the practice - the layers. If you're looking to have an inner breakthrough, go to her class. She's 'totally awesome' to work with, among my best protégées - a California kung fu girl through and through." - Flora B, Bali, senior trainer
